Description

Despite the common name, this unusual cut-leaf tree originates from south-eastern Europe. Platanus orientalis 'Digitata' has very interesting, cool green, deeply cut leaves with 5 distinctive lobes. Once established, it develops the familiar, eye-catching, flaking grey bark which can be seen on many London Planes in large cities throughout the country. A majestic large garden or parkland tree.
