A beautiful and popular maple, Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' is a large shrub with deeply-cut, purple leaves in spring / summer which turn a vivid scarlet in the autumn before falling.

The summer foliage and autumn colour is eye-catching and makes Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' a colourful addition to a nearly any garden!

Supplied Size: 3L container (30 - 50 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil. Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' will produce stronger autumn colours in a slightly acid soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy. Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' requires shelter from strong winter winds.
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Eventually an elegant large, reasonably upright, branching shrub.
