Description

A lovely selection of honeysuckle with a particularly long flowering period. Lonicera periclymenum 'Serotina' has clusters of fragrant, creamy white, flushed reddish-purple flowers in late summer. These flowers stand out very well against the dark green leaves and this is particularly attractive when grown against a sunny wall or over an old tree stump.

  • Rate of Growth: Vigorous.
  • Habit: Large, twining, climbing plant which requires support as it will not self-cling.
    • Height: up to 6 m (20 ft)
    • Spread: 3 m (10 ft)
  • Notes: Lonicera periclymenum 'Serotina' will flower best in a warm, sunny position.
  • Size: 60 - 80 cm tall in 2L deep containers
