A rare, large shrub or eventually small tree native to parts of China, Lindera angustifolia has graceful branches and mid green leaves which turn lovely shades of orange, red or yellow in autumn. In spring clusters of lightly fragrant yellow flowers appear on the branches. Established plants can have red/black fruit in autumn, although we have not seen this so far in teh U.K.

Lindera angustifolia is an exciting plant, best suited for a warm, sheltered position in sun or light, dappeld shade.
