Illicium x 'Woodland Ruby'

Rare in the UK, Illicium x 'Woodland Ruby' is a showy, evergreen shrub with spectacular, fragrant purple-pink flowers in summer. The leaves are bright green in colour and aromatic when crushed.

Illicium x 'Woodland Ruby' is a lovely shrub which requires a warm, sheltered position in sun or light, dappled shade to grow well. It is rare, valuable and a sometimes fickle plant it is recommended only for experienced gardeners.
