Description

An unusual, vigorous selection, Cornus kousa 'Schmetterling' is a flowering dogwood with masses of large white flower bracts and a distinctive upright habit. The leaves are dark green in summer, turning attractive shades of scarlet and dark red before falling in autumn.

Cornus kousa 'Schmetterling' is an excellent choice of large shrub or eventually small garden tree for summer interest as the flower bracts stand out very well against the dark green foliage.
