Information Only - A very rare, highly ornamental tree with beautiful, white / cream variegated foliage and creamy-white spires of flowers in mid summer, even on young plants.

The variegation makes the leaves stand out well and therefore Castanea sativa 'Albomarginata' looks particularly good when planted against a background of darker garden trees.

Looking for something with similar foliage? Try Quercus cerris 'Argenteovariegata' or Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' (Golden-variegated Tulip Tree)
