Tiarella wherryi is a spreading perennial with attractive maroon tinted, pale green leaves and spikes of white, sometimes pale pink tinged flowers in late Spring or early Summer.

Tiarella wherryi is ideal as a ground cover plant in shade areas.

Position: Partial shade or heavy shade.
Soil: Moist but well drained soil. Will tolerate dry shade under deciduous trees. Avoid waterlogged soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Flowering Period: May - June
Rate of Growth: Moderate.
Habit: Tiarella wherryi grows to be a spreading, ground cover perennial..
