  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Fertile soil. Taxodium distichum 'Cascade Falls' will tolerate very wet soil conditions.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
  • Habit: Taxodium distichum 'Cascade Falls' grows to be a small, weeping tree. Ideally, support the growing leader and tie to a cane vertically until it reaches a height you are happy with before allowing it to weep down. Doing this we took a specimen in our gardens to 3 - 4 m in height. Using this method you could keep it both smaller or tall than this if required.
    • Height: 3 - 4 m (10 - 13 ft).
    • Spread: 2 m (6 ft).
