A handsome shrub, Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation' has clusters of lovely deep purple flowers with a white edge to the petal in late spring. The flowers are sweetly scented and make this plant a vibrant, attractive addition to a flowering border.

Soil: Moist or well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
