(Rowan) An unusual small tree with masses of autumn berries and leathery dark green, pinnate leaves which have bold purple and orange autumn tints before falling. Heads of white flowers in late spring are followed by eye-catching large clusters of orange-red berries in autumn. 

A hardy tree but giving best display of berries and fruit if planted in a sunny position with some shelter from cold winds.
