Rehderodendron macrocarpum is a rare, deciduous small tree native to parts of Western China with clusters of lightly fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers in late spring or early summer. These flowers are followed by impressive, large fleshy pinkish-red fruit in late summer or early autumn. The summer leaves are glossy green in colour.

Rehderodendron macrocarpum requires a warm, sheltered position in sun or light, dappled shade. Avoid cold, exposed areas.
