Popular evergreen shrub with colourful young foliage, Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' has rich-red new shoots and leaves, which darken to a glossy dark green once mature.

A reliable, garden shrub useful for screening and creating evergreen hedges once established.

Position: Full sun or partial shade.
Soil: Any well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' enjoys shelter from strong, cold winter winds.
Flowering Period: April and May.
Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
Habit: Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' grows to be a large branching shrub.
