(Bistort) New to us, this is a clump forming, semi-evergreen perennial with mounds of dark green leaves and spikes of vivid dark pink flowers from late summer into early autumn.

Suitable for sun or partial shade and grows well in a large container.

Very useful for dense ground cover when planted in groups 60 - 80 cm apart.
