(Russian Sage) A superb small shrub growing with an upright habit and deeply cut silvery-grey leaves with spikes of violet-blue flowers in late summer and early autumn.
The flowers are popular with insects including bees and the leaves are pleasantly aromatic if rubbed.
Best in a sunny position and also grows well in a large container.

- Habit: Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Blue Spire' grows to be a small branching shrub with upright flower spikes.

- Pruning: To encourage flowering and keep a good shape, prune Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Crazy Blue' to approx 15 - 25 cm above ground in late April.
