Nandina domestica 'Gulf Stream'

A slow growing and compact, evergreen shrub with coppery-bronze goloured yougn leaves in Spring which gradually turn to dark green in summer. Established plants develop clusters of pretty white flowers in mid summer followed by small red berries. In cold winters the leaves may develop purple and orange tints.

Suitable for sun or partial shade and can be grown well in a large container.

• Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
• Soil: Moist, well drained, fertile soil. Not suitable for waterlogged areas.
• Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Nandina domestica 'Gulf Stream' requires protection from cold winter winds and may loose its leaves in a severe winter.
