Mespilus germanica 'Nottingham'

A handsome small tree which has large white flowers in Spring, followd by brown fruit with a good flavourt n late summer and autumn. THe summer leaves are dark green in colour. The spring flowers are popular with insects including bees and butterflies.

Best flower and fruit display when planted in a position with plenty of sun.

• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil. Avoid waterlogged areas.
• Hardiness: Hardy. 
• Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
• Habit: Mespilus germanica 'Nottingham'  grows to be a small, upright initially and often quite rounded once established, bushy tree.
