An unusual and vigorous hybrid Magnolia which grows into a medium sized or eventually large tree in time with masses of deep magenta-red flowers on bare stems in Spring before the leaves emerge. Large dark green oval leaves in summer.

An amazing tree best suited to a south-west or west facing position with some shelter from strong winds.
