Product Details

This beautiful small tree with pale pink flowers was originally raised in California and is a hybrid between Magnolia x veitchii and Magnolia liliiflora 'Nigra'. It has fantastic well scented, pale-pink, narrow flowers in April or May.

Magnolia x 'Heaven Scent' has a reasonably compact, upright habit and makes a beautiful specimen plant that is suitable for most gardens.

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Flowering Period: April - May.
Flower Colour: Pale pink
Rate of Growth: Moderate.
Habit: Magnolia x 'Heaven Scent' eventually grows to be a small tree, narrow when young, spreading once mature.
