A superb deciduous medium sized or eventually large shrub which has masses of goblet-shaped flowers in Spring, deep pink in bud pale pink when open.

The leaves are oval and dark green. Grows to be a compact large shrub or eventually a very small tree ideal for smaller gardens.

May also be grown in a large container.
