(Oak-leaved Hydrangea) A handsome medium sized or eventually large deciduous shrub, often upright initially spreading as it becomes established with dark green oak-like summer leaves and vivid orange and purple autumn colours.

Established plants have conical heads of attractive white flowers in late summer.

Suitable for a position in sun or light shade, although best flower display and autumn colour will be seen when planted in a position with plenty of sun.
