(Oak-leaved Hydrangea) New to us, this is a deciduous, small to medium sized, rounded shrub once established with long plumes of conical white flowers in late summer which quickly start to turn pink and then to dark pink-red by early autumn.

The leaves are dark green in summer with purple-red and orange tints in autumn before they fall.

Very suitable for a position in sun or light shade and ideal for gardens with limited space. Can be grown in a large container if required.
