A rare evergreen, self clinging climber, Hydrangea serratifolia has panicles of creamy white flowers up to 15 cm long in late summer. Native to parts of Chile and Argentina, this is a slow growing climber in the United Kingdom and once established has long dark green, leathery leaves a little similar to those of a Hydrangea seemanii.

Prefers a warm position and very attractive when grown up walls, fences and old tree trunks.
