Also known as Hamamelis 'Firecracker', this is a medium sized or eventually large, deciduous shrub with an upright, vase-shaped habit and masses of lightly scented, coppery orange-red flowers in winter. The dark green summer leaves have vibrant orange and purple autumn tints before they fall in October.

A vase-shaped, deciduous shrub or very small tree with flowers that give excellent late winter interest. Attractive leaves and  good autumn colour in October.

  • Flowering Period: January - March.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Hamamelis x intermedia 'Feuerzauber' grows to be a medium sized or eventually large branching shrub with a vase-shaped habit.
