Unusual in the UK, Euonymus verrucosus grows to be a medium sized to large, deciduous shrub with bronze-purple flowers in summer followed by eye-catching purple-pink fruit. These fruit split to reveal yellowish-orange seed. The leaves have attractive purple and orange autumn colours. Densely branched once established with interesting, warty stems.
