Corokia × virgata 'Limey'

A handsome, slow growing small or eventually medium sized, evergreen shrub which has slender lime-green to yellow summer leaves and small, star-like yellow flowers in Spring. The flowers are followed small orange-red berries in autumn once established.

Most suitable for sun or dappled shade in a position with shelter from strong winds. Can be grown in a large container.

• Position: Warm in full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Most well drained, reasonably fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Somewhat hardy. Corokia × virgata 'Limey' needs a sheltered position and is not suitable for cold, exposed areas. May require protection (cover with fleece, etc) in cold spells of winter weather.
• Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate in very mild areas.
• Habit: Small or eventually medium sized, rounded shrub.
  • Height: up to 1 - 1.2 m (3 - 4 ft).
  • Spread: 1 - 1.2 m (3 - 4 ft).
