Clerodendrum bungei 'Pink Diamond'

A flamboyant, compact selection of Clerodendrum bungei, which has attractive clusters of scented, bright pink flower heads in late summer and autumn. The large grey-green leaves edged with pale cream and white variegation.

A handsome garden plant valued for its spectacular flowers late in the year! Can be grown in a large container if required.

• Position: Full sun or shade.
• Soil: Any reasonably well drained soils.
• Hardiness: Hardy. Important: Clerodendrum bungei 'Pink Diamond' is a semi-herbaceous shrub, in mild winters the top section of the plant will survive and in cold winters it will die back to the ground and grow from the base in the following spring.
• Flowering Period: August - October.
• Flower Colour: Reddish-pink
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: A small to medium sized shrub, this will sucker over time. Slowe growing and smaller than the similar Clerodendrum bungei
