A spreading shrub, Chaenomeles x superba 'Salmon Horizon' has dark green leaves and clusters of cup-shaped, vivid salmon pink flowers in early spring. These flowers are followed by ornamental fruit green initially, ripening to yellow later in the summer.

Chaenomeles x superba 'Salmon Horizon' is a tough, reliable flowering shrub and with the thorns makes a useful barrier plant as well.
