(Weeping Katsura Tree) A beautiful small to medium sized tree, Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'Amazing Grace' has graceful weeping branches and gradually develops a mound-like habit with cascading branches. The leaves turn attractive shades of yellow and orange in autumn before falling. 

Ideally once planted, train the leading shoot vertically until it reaches the desired height before allowing it to weep.

  • Soil: Moist but well drained, acidic soils. Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'Amazing Grace' will tolerate some lime but will grow better and produce more vivid autumn colour in lime free or acid soils.
