A popular garden plant, Buddleja davidii 'Black Knight' grows to be a large shrub with lovely long trusses of fragrant, dark purple flowers in late summer. The leaves are pale grey-green and the long lasting flowers are popular with bees and butterflies.

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Flowering Period: July - September.
