(Strawberry Tree) Arbutus unedo 'Atlantic' is a handsome tall evergreen shrub in the short term, eventually developing into a rounded small tree with glossy dark green leaves and clusters of pretty creamy-white flowers in summer once established.

The flowers are followed by red, edible, strawberry-like fruit. These fruit can take up to a year to ripen. The flowers are very popular with insects and in particular, butterflies.
