Aesculus pavia 'Spring Purple'

Aesculus pavia 'Spring Purple'

Sorry, now sold out
£48.00

(Red Buckeye) A new introduction which is similar to Aesculus pavia 'Koehnei' in size and habit, growing as a large, rounded shrub in time with excellent, long lasting purple and bronze young leaves in spring.

The colourful foliage display is followed by upright panicles of pale pink flowers in late Spring. Leaves gradually turn purple-green in summer.

The slow growing nature makes it suitable for gardens of nearly any size or large containers.
