Acer palmatum 'Cascade'

An upright, bushy maple which gradually develops into a very small tree with gently arching, weeping branches and light green summer leaves which turn shades of orange and gold before falling in autumn.

Ideal for a position in sun or dappled shade. Grows well in a large container.

• Position: Sun, light dappled or partial shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy. Acer palmatum 'Cascade' will grow best when planted in an area sheltered from strong winds.
• Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
• Habit: A tall shrub in the short term or eventually a very small tree with gently arching branches once established. This is not a stiffly weeping maple.
