A hardy small or eventually medium sized tree, Acer platanoides 'Princeton Gold' has vibrant golden-yellow leaves in late spring and early summer which gradually darken to light green-gold in summer. The leaves are fairly resistant to sun scorch and hold their golden colour well. 

Best summer foliage colour if planted in a sunny position with shelter from strong winds.

  • Soil: Moist or well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Small to medium sized tree, upright initially with a rounded crown once established.
