Chinese Quince
Description
A rare plant native to parts of China, Pseudocydonia sinensis is a semi-evergreen tree related to Cydonia (Quince) and has dark green leaves which turn warm shades of orange and dark red autumn before falling. Once established it also has mottled, tactile, flaking bark which is ornamental in its own right. In spring it has pale pink flowers, followed by large yellow fruit (although these fruit rarely develop fully in the U.K.).Features
