SOLD OUT A colourful male selection, Skimmia japonica 'Rubinetta' has glossy dark green leaves and spikes of deep red flower buds in autumn lasting until they open into pretty white flowers spring. With year round interest, this is an easy to grow, compact garden shrub ideal for low borders or growing in a large container.

Supplied Size: 3L pots (approx 3 years old, approx 25 - 30 cm tall)

  • Position: Full sun or shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: April - May.
  • Flower Colour: White
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Small densely branching, rounded shrub.
    • Height: 1 m (3 ft)
    • Spread: 1.25 m (3 - 4 ft)
  • Notes: Skimmia japonica 'Rubinetta' is a male selection and will not produce berries itself. It will however pollinate nearby female Skimmia.
