A hardy and small tree, Malus 'Marble' has masses of white flowers in late spring, followed by large numbers of sizeable, orange-red fruit in late summer and autumn. These fruit are excellent for use in cooking and make a good crab apple jelly.

Malus 'Marble' is a lovely and compact garden tree which doesn't get to large.

Supplied Size: 7.5L pots (approx 3 years old, 125 - 150 cm tall)

  • Position: Full sun or partial shade.
  • Soil: Any fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: April - May.
  • Flower Colour: White
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Malus 'Marble' grows to be a small tree with a branching reasonably upright habit.
    • Height: up to 5 m (16 ft).
    • Spread: 4 m (13 ft).
  • Pruning: Malus 'Marble' can be pruned to shape in late winter or early spring if required.
