Information Only - Native to Eastern Asia, Mahonia lomariifolia has clusters of soft yellow, fragrant flowers in late autumn or early winter. These flowers stand out well against the dark green, glossy, deeply serrated leaves. An unusual evergreen shrub with great winter interest.

  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Mahonia lomariifolia requires protection from cold winter winds.

  • Habit: Mahonia lomariifolia grows to be a large sized shrub with a branching habit.
