Available Autumn/Winter 2018 A handsome species of Mahonia known for having dark green leaves with an interesting, wavy edge which turn rich plum-purple in late autumn or winter. Mahonia 'Undulata' can be found growing wild in the woods of North America and has delightful, bright yellow flowers in spring followed by fetching blue/black fruit in autumn.

Mahonia x wagneri 'Undulata' is a lovely evergreen shrub suitable for gardens of most sizes or woodland areas.

Supplied Size: 3L pot (approx 3 - 4 years old, 30 - 40 cm tall)

  • Position: Full sun or shade.
  • Soil: Well drained soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: late February - April.
  • Flower Colour: Bright yellow.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Mahonia x wagneri 'Undulata' grows to be a medium sized, rounded shrub.
    • Height: 2.5 m (8 ft).
