Information Only - An unusual cultivar, Euonymus europaeus 'Albus' has masses of showy, white fruit in autumn which split to reveal bright orange seed. The leaves are dark green in spring /summer and turn pretty shades of yellow before falling in autumn.

A handsome garden plant which has the bonus of being a good pollinator for Euonymus europaeus 'Red Cascade'.

  • Soil: Any fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: May - June.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Euonymus europaeus 'Albus' grows to be a large branching shrub.
    • Height: 3 - 4 m (10 - 13 ft).
    • Spread: 2.5 m (8 ft).
  • Notes: The fruit and buds of this plant can be toxic and should not be eaten. This plant will produce much better displays of fruit when planted near and pollinated by another Euonymus europaeus cultivar.
