Available Summer 2018 - An eye-catching shrub, Buddleja x weyeriana 'Sungold' has panicles of mauve-orange, ball shaped, flowers in summer, in our experience the most attractive to butterflies and moths.

Popular and reliable large shrub with excellent late summer interest.

Supplied Size: 3L pots (30 - 40 cm tall)

  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: July - September.
  • Flower Colour: Orange.
  • Rate of Growth: Vigorous.
  • Habit: Buddleja x weyeriana 'Sungold'grows to be a medium or eventually large branching, rounded shrub if left unpruned.
    • Height: up to 2.5 m (8 ft)

  • Pruning: To encourage flowering and keep a tidy habit, prune Buddleja x weyeriana 'Sungold' back hard to a bud in February or March.
