Description

Fantastic climber with large, lush green leaves which turn glowing shades of purple and red in the autumn before falling. Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii' is a striking climbing plant for brightening up a bare house wall, fence or growing over an old tree or building.

Supplied Size: 3L deep pots (approx 40 - 50 cm tall)


  • Position: Full sun or partial shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: June - July.
  • Rate of Growth: Vigorous.
  • Habit: Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii'  grows to be a large self-clinging climbing plant.
    • Height: 15 m (50 ft)
    • Spread: 6 m (20 ft)
  • Notes: Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii' self-clings but will require initial support until established
