Available Autumn 2016 An attractive climber, Clematis montana 'Marjorie' has semi-double, creamy-pink flowers in late spring or early summer. In cold areas or when grown in some shade, the flowers may turn coppery pink or even pale green in colour.

Clematis montana 'Marjorie' is an excellent climber for covering old tree, fences or trellis in a sunny position.

  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: May - June.
  • Flower Colour: Creamy pink
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
  • Habit: Clematis montana 'Marjorie' grows to be a medium sized or eventually large, scrambling climber. This requires support and will not self-cling.
    • Height: up to 6 - 8 m (20 - 26 ft)
    • Spread: 2 m (6 ft)
  • Pruning: It is usually not necessary to prune this Clematis. Remove any dead/damaged stems or trim to size after flowering.
