Available Spring 2019 An eye-catching climber, Clematis 'Barbara Jackman' has large deep violet flowers, striped magenta in May and June. 

Clematis 'Barbara Jackman'  is an excellent climber for many positions but is particularly suitable for growing up trellis against a sunny wall or fence.

  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: May - June.
  • Flower Colour: White.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Small to medium sized, scrambling Clematis.
    • Height: up to 2.5 m (8 ft) - 3  m (10 ft)
    • Spread: 1.5 m (5 ft)
  • Pruning: Remove any damaged stems in late winter or early spring and cut remaining stems back to just above the highest pair of strong buds.
