A handsome and unusual, branching shrub in the short term or eventually, a fairly rounded very small tree in the UK once established covered with masses of scented, showy white flowers in April. The leaves are mid green in colour with occasional yellow or bronze tints in autumn before falling.

Best display of flower in a position sheltered from strong winds and does not enjoy wet or waterlogged ground. Can be grown well in a large container.
