An attractive grass native to the USA, Carex muskingumensis forms a dense clump once established with narrow, bright green leaves and brown seed heads in summer.

Very suitable for damp ground and grows well next to streams and ponds.

Position: Full sun or partial shade.
Soil: Moist or damp soil..
Hardiness: Hardy.
Rate of Growth: Moderate.
Habit: Carex muskingumensis grows to be an upright, clump forming grass.
- Height: up to 80 - 100 cm (3 ft)
- Spread: 40 - 60 cm (2 ft)

Pruning: Remove any dead or damaged leaves in the summer months.
