(Red-leaved Honey Locust Tree) A lovely ornamental tree, Gleditsia triacanthos 'Ruby Lace' has ruby-red, fine pinnate (feather-like), young leaves which gradually darken to an attractive bronze-green as they age. The brightly coloured young leaves are eye-catching and contrast well with the older, darker foliage.

A small and elegant, hardy garden tree best in a sunny spot. Can be on the slower growing side initially until settled down n position.
