Acer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz'

Acer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz' is a handsome and graceful medium sized to large shrub with vivid reddish-bronze young leaves in spring. The leaves then gradualy turn bright green in the summer and finally strong shades of orange and red before falling in autumn.

An attractive shrub, excellent in a border and suitable for growing in a large container.

• Soil: Any well drained, neutral or slightly acid, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy. Acer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz'  will grow best when planted in an area sheltered from strong winds.
