We take pride in our plants and great care is taken when packing plants for delivery by our mail order service.
They are packed by hand in specially made, tough, reinforced boxes and we use straw or shredded cardboard to ensure that the plant(s) are well cushioned and arrive with you undamaged.
Delivery and Packing Charges
- Our delivery charge to any address on the mainland, United Kingdom is a flat fee of £9.50 for any number of plants
- In addition to the standard mail order charge above, a one off surcharge applies for deliveries to the following locations due to the extra expense of sending the parcels here:
Isle of Man: £7.10
Northern Ireland: £7.10
Scottish Islands: £7.80
Additional Information for UK deliveries
- Please allow up to five working days for us to process your order. Once your plants are ready, they will be dispatched using an overnight courier.
- If you need the plants to arrive earlier than this (for a special occasion, etc.) or for a specific date, please email us at sales@bluebellnursery.com or telephone our main office on (01530) 413700 with the preferred delivery date and your order details.
- We use a reliable overnight delivery service and if you are not available when the plant(s) arrive, the parcel can be left in the prearranged safe location. For example by the front door, etc.
Our parcels can be delivered at any time between 8am and 5.30pm. We are not able to specify an exact delivery time! - If in the extremely unlikely event the plant is damaged on arrival with you or has not arrived with you by 5.30pm on the day of delivery, please call our office on (01530) 413700 with your full name and order number. We will resolve any problems as quickly as possible.

Making an order from a EU county
- Please use our website and select your plants.
- Fill in your details and choose the Overseas delivery option.
- We will check plant availability and email you to confirm the details.
- Once payment has been received, the plants will be packed and sent.
Paying for an order from a EU county
- To send plants to Europe we would need your payment details.
- Until European payment facilities exist for our website, most people choose to pay with a debit or credit card by fax or telephone. We can telephone you to ask for these details in person or you could fax them to our office at: (+44 1530 417600)
- We would need the long number across the middle, the start date (issue number), expiry date and the last 3 digits on the back of the card.
Important Guarantee Information for plants sent to EU countries
We offer a seven day guarantee for plants sent to EU countries only. This is to cover the safe delivery of the plants.
We cannot give any further guarantee on their continued good health due to the potentially extreme change in climatic conditions that they will experience on arrival in your country.
