Description
A popular small tree, Sorbus x 'Joseph Rock' is known for its superb autumn colour and was introduced to the west after it was found in China in the early twentieth century by the famed plant hunter, Joseph Rock.
This mountain ash has cool green, pinnate (feather-like) leaves which turn fabulous shades blood red in autumn before falling. This excellent autumn colour is complimented by large clusters of bright yellow fruit!

Notes: The berries of a Sorbus x 'Joseph Rock' tend to last on the tree until late in autumn, as birds will generally leave the yellow fruit until last when hungry, preferring to eat the red and orange coloured berries first.
